My name is Ceren (pronounced Je-ren) Nomer Depree and I have been a recruiter in the tech space for over 10 years. During my time I’ve worked in internal recruiting, HR, agency recruiting and career coaching. My agency recruiting experience has given me insight into different industries, companies and hiring processes for all different types of roles. I then went internal at different startups; BuyWithMe, Intent Media, SOLS, Medium and Stripe. For most of my experience as an internal recruiter at small startups, I was the sole recruiter and hired every role including, sales, operations, finance and tech. After mastering those skills, I pursued my career coaching passion and went to Fullstack Academy to coach new engineers in the technical interview process as well as provide a window into the market for Software Engineering.
My passion is helping individuals recognize their value and ensuring that their next offer reflects that. My experience gives me unique insight into the job market, available openings, salary data and interview processes. I leverage the knowledge and network gained from a decade of experience to help job seekers approach their search with confidence. I work with individuals to identify their strengths and target companies that match their values, desired culture, and passions. My services start with company identification and don’t end until we’ve successfully negotiated a competitive offer.
One of the reasons why I am focusing in this niche market is because I’ve been lucky enough to work for companies who truly care about their employees. RIFs and layoffs are never ideal but are sometimes inevitable. By leveraging my services companies show both current and departing employees that they’re going to do right by them.
